7207. Climate Smart Workshop Kigali - Rwanda
Co-facilitation of a workshop about climate smart bilateral programmes with experts on food security and water, and heads of development cooperation, from 16 Dutch embassies.
The Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) aimed to achieve climate change objectives by combining these with other objectives of development assistance, like water security and food security. It organised regular meetings with programme managers and heads of development assistance at the Netherlands embassies that run bilateral programmes. From 25 to 27 October 2016 such a workshop took place in Kigali, Rwanda.The NCEA's Dutch Sustainability Unit was invited to co-facilitate this workshop with MFA's Kadi Warner.
