Guidance document: SEA and water management

The NCEA compiled a guidance document to support SEAs for watershed management planning in Macedonia.

In the course of cooperation between the NCEA and the Macedonian Environmental Ministry, the NCEA compiled this memorandum presenting practical insights on guidance in SEA. It describes the following steps in the SEA process:

• Context-setting;
• Scoping;
• Assessment;
• Participation and consultation.

For each of these steps, generic guidance is provided, with specific points of attention for watershed management planning.
