Technical Collaboration with ANDE - Côte d'Ivoire

The NCEA has entered into a  technical collaboration with the National Environmental Agency of Côte d’Ivoire (Agence Nationale de l’Environnement – ANDE), with a view to developing guidelines for the development and validation of its principal instruments for Environmental and Social Assessment. The collaboration is part of an action plan to strengthen the Ivorian environmental and social assessment system. This action plan stems from an evaluation, conducted jointly by ANDE, the World Bank, and the AfDB during in 2024 and 2025. The NCEA provides technical support in conjunction with technical and financial support from the World Bank, with the aim to jointly design and implement the process of developing and adopting the above mentioned technical instruments.
