The NCEA/DSU received a request from the Netherlands Embassy in Kigali dated 5 March 2016 to assess concept notes for the national Food Security programme.
Significant details
Out of six concept notes, the DSU has been asked to assess three concept notes from the perspective of:
* adaptation to climate change (any opportunities for mitigation?)
* environmental sustainability
* socio-economic and institutional sustainability
* landscape approach
* synergy between spear points (water and food security) on those points
and to provide recommendations for improvement.
