Advisory review: guidelines for biodiversity in marine/coastal EIA and SEA

The NCEA issued an advisory review - in the form of an advice of the secretariat - on the Draft Voluntary Guidelines for the Consideration of Biodiversity in EIAs and SEAs in Marine and Coastal Areas.

Significant details

The guidelines were prepared by the Convention on Biodiversity (CBD). The NCEA reviewed three documents, and was generally positive about their contents. Some recommendations were given for possible improvements.
