Start of the SEA for the Sourou area, Mali

Bamako, 2-6 July 2018. The SEA for the Sourou area just kicked off! Local authorities plan for sustainable development of this area on the border with Burkina Faso, which is struck by conflict and climate change. The trans-boundary management of the Sourou river, originating in Burkina Faso, is key to this plan. The NCEA is invited to advice about the scope of the SEA.
