Alejandra Burchard Levine joins the NCEA team

Published on: 2025-04-29

In April, we welcomed a new member to the team: Alejandra Burchard Levine. Alejandra is a Chilean/Spanish-born Canadian who grew up speaking French, Spanish, and English in the French-Canadian city of Montreal. She moved to the Netherlands in 2020 as a PhD fellow for the EU-funded Next Water Governance project. There she researched the role of private consultancy firms in policy diffusion, particularly focusing on the roles of Dutch consultancy firms in environmental policy advising in Latin America.

With a background in chemical engineering and environmental governance, Alejandra is very excited to join the NCEA team. She is eager to work with a passionate team that supports decision-making based on social and environmental impact considerations. Alejandra will be supporting the team in Spanish and Portuguese-speaking countries, as well as contributing to activities in Francophone countries.

Welcome to the team, Alejandra!
