In its 2024 annual report, the NCEA looks back on an eventful year. In 2024, the NCEA:
- received a significant number of requests for support related to mining, water, and renewable energy (green hydrogen, offshore wind, nuclear, and hydropower), especially related to Strategic Environmental Assessment;
- marked its 30th Anniversay with a special magazine about Strategic Environmental Assessment with contributions from many of you;
- noticed an increased interest and involvement from thematic ministries, civil society organizations, knowledge institutes and media platforms in environmental and social assessment;
- said goodbye to director Rob Verheem and welcomed Dennis van Peppen as his replacement;
- and much more!
