The NCEA commented on a draft SEA regulation in Mozambique.
Following the legal requirement for SEA in Mozambique, the Environmental Ministry (MICOA) identified the need to develop detailed SEA regulations. The NCEA was requested to review and comment on the draft SEA regulation. Its comments include recommendations regarding a.o. limited applicability, relevant sectors, level of decision-making, integration of planning and SEA processes, etcetera.
