Capacity Development - Yemen

In the period 2024-2025 the NCEA contributed to the development of the Wadi Hajr programme. This Dutch funded programme implemented by FAO aims to improve the socio-economic situation of the people living in this wadi. Moreover, the programme aims to become a model for integrated development of the wadi ecosystems in Yemen. The NCEA contributed though training of the staff of the Ministry of Water and Environment and though advice on an integrated approach by including SEA principles in the overarching Wadi Hajr Master plan.
