426-i. Quick Scan EIA review of the Lafa and Onyasia (Accra) Drainage Project

The Facility for Infrastructure Development (ORIO) requested the NCEA to perform a quick scan of the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) report on the Lafa and Onyasia Drainage Project, Ghana. 

Détails significatifs

In this project  the (re-)construction of approximately 7.12 kilometers of the Lafa drain, and the reconstruction of 5.18 kilometers of the Onyasia drain are proposed. Both drains fall withing the metropolitan area of the city of Accra. The aim of this quick review was quality assurance. The review was undertaken in co-ordination with the Ghana Environmental Protection Agency.
