Contributions to IFC workshop

The NCEA participated in an IFC workshop that took place from February 27th to March 3rd, with the Institut des Sciences de l'Environnement at the Chiekh Anta Diop University in Dakar, Senegal. The workshop was organised by IFC as a ‘educate the educators’ event on the topic of IFC Performance Standards in the private sector. The NCEA was invited to educate participants on ESIA in the public sector. IFC and the NCEA also explored possibilities for further cooperation, with the aim to contribute to the professional development of ESIA consultants in Africa.
