Travelling by public transport:

From Schiphol Airport to Utrecht Central Station:

The best way to travel from Schiphol Airport to Utrecht is by train. Tickets can be purchased from the ticket office or vending machines at Schiphol station. Please be advised that, in the Netherlands, return tickets are valid for one day only. Trains to Utrecht run on two routes:

A direct line from Schiphol to Utrecht runs twice hourly. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes and will cost € 14,40 (second class) and € 24,40 (first class-return tickets March 2009)

On all other eastward-bound trains, you must change at Duivendrecht to any intercity bound for Nijmegen, Maastricht or Eindhoven.

At Utrecht Centraal there are local and regional busses, as well as taxis, to take you to your final destination.

From Utrecht Central Station to our offices:

The offices of the Netherlands Commission for Environmental Impact Assessment (Commissie m.e.r.) are situated at the Arthur van Schendelstraat 800, at a 10-minute walking distance from the railway station of Utrecht CS.

By taxi:
Leave Utrecht Central Station via exit Uitgang Taxi’s (signposted).

By bus:
Leave Utrecht Central Station via exit Uitgang Stadsbusstation (signposted). Bus no. 6 (stop at Nicolaas Beetsstraat).

On foot:
Leave Utrecht Central Station via exit Uitgang Streekbusstation (signposted). Walk past the bus station, walk straight along the Herman Gorterstraat. Cross the Nicolaas Beetsstraat and take the first street on your right. This is the Arthur van Schendelstraat. We are situated at number 800.

Travelling by car:

We have a parking garage in the building, however limited parking space is available. Please check with our receptionist first.

From Schiphol Airport:

From ’s-Hertogenbosch (=Den Bosch)/Amsterdam (motorway A2), approaching from both directions

From Den Haag/Rotterdam (motorway A12)

From Arnhem (motorway A12)

From Hilversum (motorway A27)

From Breda and Gorinchem (motorway A27)

From Amersfoort (motorway A28)
